Show off your plants with our polytunnel staging equipment!
Polytunnel staging can make working inside incredibly easy. Staging for greenhouses involves constructing shelving inside the polytunnel so you can set up areas to work as well as place pots and seedlings at each stage of a plant's development. In commercial-sized polytunnels, you can also use staging to display the plants and seedlings to show them off and make it easier for your customers to see what you have to offer. Polytunnel staging is one of the many ways you can optimise your polytunnel to grow plants and your business. This equipment also works perfectly as staging for greenhouses, why not try our wooden greenhouse staging and take it to a new level.

HOW DO YOU STAGE A POLYTUNNEL?
There are a few different ways you can stage a polytunnel. You can use full-length staging supports that are made from metal tubing and then place boards over these to give you a durable, flat surface to work on and display your plants. These can be added along the entire length of your polytunnel so you can effectively use every square inch of space in your polytunnel.
If this doesn't suit your needs, you can also set up trestle-style potting benches or individual staging supports. Call our experts on 01282 601253 for advice on the best way to stage your polytunnel.
ARE POLYTUNNELS PERMITTED DEVELOPMENT?
Polytunnels can generally be constructed without the need for a permit. However, this will depend on the size of your polytunnel. The usual domestic-sized polytunnels should be fine but in most cases, you may need a permit for commercial polytunnels, especially if they are a permanent fixture on the land and are physically attached to the ground. If you have any doubts, it is always best to check with your local authority before commencing with construction.
