Our 2 Bay x 2 Bay Fruit Cage measures 3.91m wide x 3.91m long x 2.14m high (12ft 9in x 12ft 9in x 7ft) and is manufactured from 25.4mm Z35 galvanised high tensile steel. Supplied with seven end stabiliser bars which are fitted to each corner and one door making our Fruit Cages exceptionally strong structures. Check you are getting end stabiliser bars with competitor designs – these are key to structural integrity!
Each module measures 195.5cm x 195.5cm - ensuring maximum strength. Beware of others offering modules up to 250cm x 250cm; less steel = less strength!
Our joining fixtures are manufactured from galvanised cast iron - no plastic or welded steel fixings, ensuring a long life with a high corrosion resistance.
The supplied extruded high strength (17mm x 17mm) polypropylene side mesh and the super light double knitted roof mesh (18mm x 18mm) are great for protection from flocks of smaller birds, the unwanted attention of pigeons, or even the pest threat of butterflies.
Our Fruit Cage design is supplied with ground staples to position the net into the ground.
Should your required size not be listed, or you require additional doors, greater/reduced heights, etc, please contact us for a bespoke quote. Tubes can be cut down to fit your exact growing area if required.

Apart from a couple of minor niggles over surplus materials, the assembly of this went swimmingly and the cage is now serving excellently - as a protected chicken run. Provided our own timber rails for securing mesh, two sets to attach wire mesh as well as the mesh supplied, and this gives a very rigid structure. Would recommend without reservation. |

Customers in the Blue and Red areas with an order value less then £75.00, shipping costs will be £4.95. For orders above £75.00, delivery is FREE. For customers in the Orange areas, shipping costs will be £80 for Eire and £30 for Northern Ireland irrespective of order value. Please note, the cost of £80 for customers in Eire includes a £50 customs clearance charge which we pay in advance on your behalf, ensuring there are no unexpected costs upon import.
