Domestic Sliding Door And Outer Frame

The End Frames are supplied with 75mm x 47mm pressure treated timber, as used on our Domestic range of Polytunnels. Comprising, two upright posts, measuring 2.4m long, and a door lintel measuring 1.6m long. The lintel can be reduced in order to fit a variation of Domestic Door widths and will need to be cut. A double-row of timber battens is included, ensuring your main polytunnel cover is held securely onto the Frame.

We suggest that the End Frame is secured into the earth, approx 30cm, please ensure that the remaining length of 2.1m is enough to reach the hoop, if not you may be required to fit a horizontal rail which fixes under the hoop, onto which the door post can be fitted. You can configure a horizontal rail here.

P Clips for fitting the door posts to the framework are not included within this pack. P Clips for securing the horizontal support rail to the hoop are included.

The Inner doors are supplied with 47mm x 47mm pressure treated timber, as used on our Domestic range of Polytunnels. Comprises, two upright posts, measuring 1.8m long, and three cross pieces providing a door width of 50cm (Single), 70cm long (Wide) or 120cm (Double). A single-row of timber battens ensures your polythene door panels are held securely onto the Inner Door.

A 47mm x 47mm pressure treated support rail prevents the sliding door from damaging the polythene cover. Please select your required length. The Sliding Door Support rail is attached to the Polytunnel hoop with the use of a P Clip that is included within the Sliding Door Support Rail Fixing kit, please select your required P Clip size.

All timber used is sourced from well-managed forests. To this end we are proud to be the only Polytunnel company to become FSC certified.

Our Aluminium sliding door track is manufactured from a heavy duty Alloy 6063 T6, supplied complete with heavy duty door runners.
