A self adhesive foam tape which when placed over Polytunnel hoops prolongs the life of the polythene by at least one year. Our anti hot spot tape for polytunnels protects your polythene cover against hot spots, preventing heat degradation. The slippery surface allows the cover to glide over the frame preventing abrasion and snagging of the cover during construction. First Tunnels always uses Anti Hot Spot Tape when constructing polytunnels. Three widths available – 20mm, 25mm & 30mm, 9 metres on each roll.
The Anti Hot Spot Tape is manufactured with an Acrylic Adhesive rather than a Hot Melt Adhesive. If the Anti Hot Spot Tape for polytunnels is constructed using Hot Melt Adhesive then the performance is seriously compromised. A Hot Melt Adhesive has very poor resistance to UV. Therefore, our polytunnel hotspot tape is top quality and will keep your polythene protected!

Polytunnel Accessories (including polytunnel covers) will be despatched within 1-3 working days.
Customers in the Blue and Red areas with an order value less then £100, shipping costs will be £4.95.
For orders above £100, delivery is FREE. For customers in the Orange areas, shipping costs will be £80 for Eire and £30 for Northern Ireland, Isle Of Man, Guernsey & Jersey irrespective of order value.
Please note, the cost of £80 for customers in Eire includes a £50 customs clearance charge which we pay in advance on your behalf, ensuring there are no unexpected costs upon import.
