Q Clips

P Clips

Corner Clamps
Used for fixing either timber or aluminium base/side rails to the corners of the polytunnel framework at 90° to each other. Supplied with bolts. Four sizes of clamps available to fit tubes with a diameter of 25.4mm, 35.0mm, 50.8mm and 60.3mm.
Intermediate Clamps
Used for clamping either timber or our aluminium base/side rails to intermediate hoops. Supplied with bolts. Four sizes of clamps available to fit tubes with a diameter of 25.4mm, 35.0mm, 50.8mm and 60.3mm.
Exhaust Clamps
Clamps around the polytunnel framework ideal for a multitude of uses. Four sizes of clamps available to fit tubes with a diameter of 25.4mm, 35.0mm, 50.8mm and 60.3mm.
Ridge Clamps
Ideal for clamping tubes at right angles to each other. Used by First Tunnels to clamp the ridge to the hoop. Six various sizes available.
Nail Plate Joiners
Ideal for joining timber - both joints and breaks. Simply nail across each joint/break for a complete and rigid finish.
Metal Self Drill Screws
These screws drill their own hole and then tap into steel. They are quick and save hours pre-drilling and lining up.
Foundation Tubes

Anchor Plates
Used as an alternative to concreting and as an extra safeguard for polytunnel construction and durability. Essential on polytunnels fitted with Base/Side Rails. A square plate slots over the foundation tube and is fixed at the base of the tube through the use of clamps. Once in position, the plate will prevent lifting and sinking of the framework. The foundation tube shown is not included in the price. Three sizes available 25.4mm, 35.0mm and 50.8mm.
Base Plate
Used to replace foundation tubes for polytunnels which require fixing to a hard standing (concrete, flags, etc). To be used in conjunction with Base Rails. Supplied with rawl bolts. We can supply coach screws allowing fixing onto timber. Please specify at time of ordering if you require these. Four sizes available 25.4mm, 35.0mm, 50.8mm and 60.3mm.
Storm Stay Braces
Storm braces can be used on all the intermediate hoop joints to help strengthen the structure against wind on exposed or blustery sites. Supplied complete with nuts, bolts and brackets. Four sizes available to fit tubes with a diameter of 25.4mm, 35.0mm, 50.8mm and 60.3mm.
Staging Support
A simple and versatile staging support leg 30in high. Clamps easily to each hoop of your polytunnel and comes complete with fixing brackets to a worktop of your choice. Fit to one side of your polytunnel or both to give excellent raised potting and growing area.
Timber Doors
All timber used by First Tunnels is treated using 'Tanalith-E'. Full details of the this type of pressure treatment can be viewed here Tanalith-E.
Door Ventilation Blinds
All domestic polytunnel doors are supplied with 40% shade net on the top half and polythene on the bottom. Our roll up polythene blind covers the net ventilation panel on your polytunnel door. Essential if you wish to prevent valuable heat loss during those cold months. Two sizes to choose from, for use on our Standard and Wide Doors. Note: Double doors use two Standard Blinds.
